You will also be issued with a unique code in a separate e-mail for distribution to businesses in your network. This will allow them to register and get full access to the IBTIX site. Member companies must be nominated in this way by a business or trade development agency, innovation centre, chamber of commerce, or similar development body (see additional details below).

We encourage you to distribute the code to the most innovative and ambitious businesses in your network using whatever method works best for you. This may include an e-mail broadcast or by distributing to individual companies on a case by case basis. When distributing the code, we recommend that you provide simple instructions advising your businesses to log in at www.ibtix.com and click on the "Sign Up Now" button. Without a valid code, your companies will not be able to join the IBTIX community of growing businesses.
You may also wish to highlight IBTIX and your partnership role in your general e-mailings, electronic newsletters and other publicity materials. Please feel free to provide a link to the IBTIX site in any such materials.
Your unique IBTIX member company code can always be viewed in your Account Settings (which can be accessed after you log-in) in the event you misplace it.

The process for creating a profile is similar for International Development Partners and Member Companies. By way of illustration, the instructions for creating a ‘Member Company’ profile follow: Go to www.IBTIX.com. Using your User Name and Password, log on to the site and create your company profile. We encourage you to complete this fully to ‘showcase and sell’ your company. You will also be asked to highlight key objectives, company contact names and contact details, your company's areas of specialty, company logo, video/brochure/pdf, etc., and your web-link. Once you enter these details, navigate to the Submit button. You now have full access to site features.
Once you have registered and created your profile, IBTIX is working for your company or organization 24/7. When you visit the site in the future, use your User Name and Password to access the Members Only area. IBTIX facilitates business interaction and allows you to search for and connect with new partners by business/market sector and by geography. Moreover, because IBTIX Member Companies are connected with reputable business development agencies, you can interact confident that you will be accessing some of the world's most innovative and respected companies and development organizations. In addition to facilitating and brokering new introductions locally, nationally and internationally, IBTIX is a portal for news, events, innovation development, trade resources (such as IBTIX Gold) and forum based discussion. As a Member Company or International Development Partner, you have full access to these tools and can contribute to discussions, ask questions, post your own news and flag-up any relevant events. Member companies and international development partners have the facility to invite others to join their personal network. This is typically the first step in developing a one-on-one relationship on IBTIX. Others have the same facility and can invite your company or organization to join their network. When an invitation is extended, an automated e-mail is generated indicating that a member has invited your business or organization to join their network. You will be able to review the requester’s summary profile and accept or decline. The site supports direct contact between members.
